Problem With Video Reporting/Flagging/Restrictions

Video flagging/restrictions were always a problem for my channel, but it only get worse and worse as time goes by.

One day I noticed that I'm unable to upload a specific game footage I posted on this site before, got a huge view count for it, never had problems with ToS or anything. But there's another channel which continued to uploading same kind of content and never had any issues with it ever. He can make video updates and I can't. Same content, but I'm getting "Video was flagged and disabled" right after video is done converting, 1 - 100 views, depending on time of day video was uploaded.

So, I reached out to the support team, with a question: "Why my video is getting flagged even if it doesn't break any site rules/ToS and the same kind of content is available on other channel?".
The answer was quite interesting to read: "When a video gets flagged by a Pornhub user, it does not necessarily mean that it breaks any rules or guidelines. Every visitor to Pornhub has different tastes and viewing preferences, so viewers will flag videos using their own judgement. If we find your video to be compliant, you can expect to find it back on the site shortly."

It confirms why the current reporting system is flawed and can be used as a tool for destroying people's channels. Anonymous person just need to follow a content creator, wait for a new video to be up and ready and report it right away. It seems like moderation team never care about a proper review of flagged video, as it almost never come back from this state and then it becomes as good as being deleted.

I saw people reported about this kind of issue before, but their feedback never had much of attention.

Here's some solutions I can think of:
- Inform the uploader why the video was flagged in the first place. I'd be glad to read about it and see what I can do in the future to avoid same kind of issue or even fix flagged video so it won't be flagged again.
- Give the uploader 24 hours to respond about the flag in question BEFORE moderation team restrict a video.

I know several huge content creators which left pornhub because of it. And I really want PH to be a good place for people who just want to share their stuff without having a hard time, because someone just don't like them or what they do. it's also not in site's interests to lose a traffic which can be generated by active users.

        We need to remove certain content. For instance wiz1.net. is posting some disturbing video. I don't know how you can police everyone post for illegal porn. I did a deal dive in to your site today. And it is a wild west mentality.

        Hola, quiero saber ¿Cuáles son los motivos que pueden causar que un video se elimine?
        Recientemente subí un video y vi que lo eliminaron a petición de los dueños de derechos de autor;
        la verdad NO lo entendí ya que constantemente veo que muchos usuarios hacen lo mismo utilizando material que
        OBVIAMENTE esta protegido con derechos de autor como material de películas por ejemplo, y aun así los videos
        no los eliminan, lo único que hice fue agregar efectos a un segmento de un video ya publicado aquí en Porn Hub.
        Espero su respuesta. Saludos y muchos éxitos , son la mejor web porno del Mundo!!!

        @Brett Hall
        So, I should email my flagged video to the support along with other active videos on PH with same kind of footage?

        The case involving one of Krongorka's videos which was disabled by the very first viewer is a prime example of this issue. Disabling videos of users is an administrative power: It has the power to go against what a user wants. The current flag system gives that administrative power to everyone, allowing users to interfere with other users. In any media platform, this immediately raises concerns of conflicts of interest.

        This system puts a weapon in a room full of strangers with an incentive to harm each other. Authorities exist, but are not involved enough to have any effect. The instructions on how to use said weapon state that the weapon may be used on bases as arbitrary as personal taste. The game is set up so the one who breaks the peace and harms everyone else wins.

        The abstract rules need to either be reduced or removed. Personal taste is not a valid reason to make a video unviewable to everyone.
        Those rules need to be enforced. Moderation teams already do this by disabling flagged videos.
        Make sure ONLY those rules are enforced. Flags not made on a basis bounded in the rules (like personal taste) are invalid. Moderation teams need to pay attention to what they're doing.
        Lighten the load for the moderation teams by punishing improper use of the flagging system. Seriously, it's just a headache for everyone when flags get spammed.
        If moderation teams cannot keep up with flags, then don't leave a "weapon" in the room full of strangers, or at least weaken it. The flagging system, if paired with an automated bot to disable videos, is easy to exploit. If moderators cannot keep it under control, it must be weakened by forcing the bot to wait until a condition is reached that would give it probable cause for video disabling. (Several flags after the video reaches a number of views, no response to a warning of video disabling.) The system remains autonomous but now is more difficult to exploit.
